The space for ideas as space for equal opportunities: The ZENDOME.domescape provided exclusive space for information and entertainment for the campaign “European Year of equal opportunities for all” from 1st to 12th of May 2007 in Helsinki.
The initiative of the European Union was the official partner of the Eurovision Song Contest which with its 100 million viewers once again was a giant European music event bringing people, languages and cultures together. During the week of the competition all the participants talked about equal opportunities and celebrated diversity.
For the program in the European Village at the Narinkka Place in the centre of the Finnish capital, GabiDom set the ZENDOME space in scene as an eye catcher that could not be missed: connected by a tunnel the ZENDOME.150M and the ZENDOME.75M where used as stages for different attractions.
Concerts and stars, competitions and quiz shows, DJ sets and cocktail mixing courses could be seen and taken part in inside the much frequented ZENDOME.domescape aside from the information about the European Year. The space for ideas became a platform for creative young people from all over Europe.
