At the 78th International Automobile Salon in Geneva Think introduced the TH!NK City from Norway which is the first car worldwide that runs on 100% battery power and is also recyclable to 95%.
In order to set this revolutionary combination of sustainability and urban mobility in scene accordingly the experts for presentation architecture Sixsides from Oslo had searched for a special solution. The technologically and aesthetically innovative realisation was achieved by an extraordinary combination of geodesic cupolas:
With a ZENDOME.30M inside a ZENDOME.300M by Blasto Sixsides utilized the advantages of ZENDOMEs modular concept at the only fair stand outside of the halls. While the larger of the two fulfilled its role as exhibition platform, the ZENDOME.30M was home to the communication headquarters and coordination office of the fair stand which had to be protected from the excitement on the outside.
The CEO of TH!NK, Jan-Olaf Willums, had the architectural office Snøhetta design a special synthetic ball into which they placed a life size TH!NK City. This way a harmonious ensemble was created finding a visual way of incorporating the environmental issues by using the forms of oxygen bubbles.
